We are seeking a diligent and technically-minded Data Center Operator (DCO) to join our IaaS-SOC Technology team in Doha. In this vital role, you will be the frontline guardian of our data center, ensuring its continuous availability and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the 24x7 monitoring of all critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, and network systems, responding swiftly to any incidents to maintain stability.
Your duties will include managing physical site access, providing essential remote hands support to customers, and performing routine system checks. This position requires meticulous documentation of all activities within our ticketing system and close collaboration with NOC and Facility teams. You will play a key part in supporting maintenance activities and upholding strict operational and safety standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, shift-based environment and possess a strong commitment to service reliability and customer support.

- 1-3 years of experience in data center operations, IT operations, or a technical support role.
- Basic knowledge of server hardware, networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS), and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Solar Winds, Zabbix).
- Proficiency in using IT ticketing systems such as Service Now, Jira, or Remedy.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based processes for Incident, Service Request, and Change Management.
- Proven ability to provide 'remote hands' support, including hardware installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving infrastructure alerts.
- Experience with data center security protocols, including physical access control management.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Cisco CCNA.
- Experience working in a 24x7 rotating shift environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
Arabic proficiency is an advantage. - Customer-focused mindset with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
