Black & Grey HR is recruiting for an established technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Network Security Officer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures that protect critical information assets from internal and external threats. This role plays a key part in defining network security frameworks, leading secure infrastructure design, and ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.

Bilingual proficiency in Arabic is mandatory.

• Design, document, and maintain secure network and system architectures aligned with business objectives and security requirements.
• Develop and review network security blueprints, segmentation strategies, and detailed data flow diagrams.
• Integrate security controls into enterprise network infrastructures, including firewalls, VPNs, WAF, IDS / IPS, and proxy systems.
• Ensure network designs adhere to principles of least privilege, defense-in-depth, and secure-by-design.

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of network security technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, WAFs, load balancers, and secure gateways.
• Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), network access control (NAC), and micro‑segmentation to strengthen internal defenses.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to embed security throughout design and implementation life cycles.
• Ensure secure configuration baselines and continuous tuning of network security systems.

• Assess emerging security tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance network protection capabilities.
• Develop network security architecture roadmaps and recommend technology investments aligned with evolving threat landscapes.
• Evaluate cloud network security solutions to support hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

• Ensure all network security architectures comply with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, PCI‑DSS).
• Conduct periodic network security assessments, audits, and gap analyses to validate effectiveness and compliance.
• Define and maintain network security standards, configuration baselines, and architecture principles.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network and security engineering teams.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, cloud teams, Dev Ops, and SOC teams to deliver integrated, secure solutions.

• 10+ years of experience in network and security engineering, with at least 4 years in a senior‑level role.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic (Mandatory).
• Strong background in designing and securing enterprise and cloud networks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• CCNP Security / CCIE Security
• Palo Alto PCNSE
• Fortinet NSE Certifications
• F5 Certification (Preferred)
• Cloud Security Certifications (Azure, GCP, AWS)

• Deep understanding of networking protocols : TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs.
• Hands‑on experience with next‑generation firewalls :
  Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA / Firepower.
• Proficiency in network security policies, QoS, packet shaping, intrusion prevention, and secure routing architectures.
• Experience with cloud network security across Azure and GCP environments.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust, SD‑WAN, SASE, and modern network security architectures.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills for both technical and executive stakeholders.
