About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Information Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security controls across our IT infrastructure to ensure the highest standards of data protection and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset toward cybersecurity and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage information security systems and tools to protect company infrastructure and data.
- Conduct security monitoring, log analysis, and incident response activities.
- Administer and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
- Develop, implement, and update information security policies and procedures in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal IT, project, and management teams to ensure secure solution design and delivery.
- Provide security awareness and training support to staff as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in information security or cybersecurity engineering.
- Strong understanding of network and systems security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability management, and security monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls implementation.
- Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
