We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Azure data services, including Databricks, Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Event Hub. This role involves building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise data management initiatives.

• Design, develop, and maintain
  data pipelines
  and
  data integration workflows
  using
  Azure Data Factory
  and
  Azure Databricks.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions within
  Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
  and
  Delta Lake.
• Develop and maintain
  ETL/ELT processes
  for ingesting and transforming large-scale data.
• Implement
  data models, data warehousing solutions
  , and
  big data architectures.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using
  PySpark, Scala, or SQL.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including
  Event Hub
  and third-party systems.
• Apply
  data governance
  ,
  data quality
  , and
  security best practices
  across the data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data availability and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and ensure system scalability.

• 8+ years
  of experience as a
  Data Engineer
  , with a focus on
  Azure data platforms.
• Proficiency in
  Py Spark
  ,
  Scala
  , and
  SQL
  for data transformation and processing.
• Solid understanding of
  data modeling
  ,
  data warehousing
  , and
  big data technologies.
• Experience working with
  Delta Lake
  and modern data storage formats (e.g., Parquet, ORC).
• Familiarity with
  data integration tools
  ,
  APIs
  , and
  streaming data solutions.
• Strong
  problem-solving
  ,
  analytical
  , and
  troubleshooting
  skills.
• Knowledge of
  data governance
  and
  data quality management
  principles.

• Bachelor's degree
  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineering certification
  or equivalent is a plus.
