Position: Lead Test Engineer (Cards & Digital Banking)

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with deep expertise in Card-based banking solutions and Digital Banking platforms
, particularly FIS IST / Cortex
. The ideal candidate will lead manual testing initiatives across issuing, acquiring, and payment ecosystems while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and card schemes.

Key Requirements Experience & Domain Expertise

• 10+ years of overall testing experience
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience with FIS IST / Cortex
• Strong understanding of Card Management Systems and payment processing
• Proven experience in EFT and Banking Channels (ATM, POS, PCTs, Internet Banking)

Technical & Functional Skills FIS Cortex / IST

• Hands‑on experience with all modules of FIS IST Switch / Cortex
• Product setup, risk rules, and fees
• Acquiring modules and POS flows
• Cortex APIs
• FIS clearing and payment monitoring

Card Schemes & Payments

• Strong interaction and coordination with:
• Visa, Master Card, NAPS, AMEX, UPI
• Deep knowledge of Visa & Master Card rules and regulations
• Experience with scheme compliance testing and certifications

Transaction & Security Technologies

• NFC, Contactless, Tokenization‑based transactions
• EMV, VBV, PCI DSS
• MTIP, VSDC
• Terminal certification
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 message formats
• Testing experience using:
• ATM and POS simulators
• OTS, Visa, and Master Card simulators

Databases & Tools

• Working knowledge of Oracle 19c
• Strong PL/SQL understanding for validation and troubleshooting

Project & Delivery Experience

• EMV migration projects (Issuing & Acquiring for ATM/POS)
• Launching new card products and large‑scale system migrations
• E‑commerce acquiring (Visa/Master Card)
• Deployments
• Prior experience in regulatory and compliance initiatives (Central Bank, PCI DSS)

Additional Skills

• Hands‑on exposure to Prime, Way4
  , and wallet/tokenization initiatives
• Understanding of Mobile & Internet Banking and secure transaction protocols
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
