• Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and on‑premises infrastructure solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑grade storage and backup infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud platforms.
• Develop and enforce data protection, retention, and recovery strategies in alignment with organizational policies.
• Manage capacity planning, performance optimization, and monitoring of storage resources.
• Implement backup automation, job scheduling, and reporting for SLA compliance.

• Practical experience in Storage Area Net Services (FC/iSCSI), zoning, and LUN provisioning.
• Proficient in automating backup and storage operations using scripting and orchestration tools (Power Shell, Python, Ansible).
• Experience with data lifecycle management, retention policies, and archival strategies.
• Strong knowledge of replication, snapshot management, and cross‑site disaster recovery setups.
• Skilled in monitoring and performance tuning of storage systems using tools like Solar Winds, Zabbix, or vendor‑native utilities.
• Knowledge of security best practices related to data encryption, key management, and compliance (GDPR, ISO).

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Attain one or more certifications from the following technology domains:
  • Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) or Azure Storage certification.
  • AWS Certified Storage Specialty or Solutions Architect –Associate.
  • Dell EMC Proven Manpower / Net App Certified Data Administrator / Comm Vault Certified Engineer.
  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) / Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS).
  • ITIL Foundation.
• 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4–5 years specializing in enterprise storage and backup solutions.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining hybrid (on‑premises and cloud) storage architectures.
• Hands‑on experience in data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to services independently and lead complex multi‑site backup/storage projects.
