The Senior IT Analyst is responsible to provide expertise in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and solutions to support the organization's business objectives. They are responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of business requirements, recommending IT solutions, and overseeing their implementation. Additionally, they serve as a subject matter expert in specific areas of IT, such as system integration, data management, or cybersecurity.
The Senior IT Analyst collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure that IT projects and initiatives align with business needs and priorities. They also provide technical guidance and support to junior IT analysts and assist in resolving complex technical issues.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements, system specifications, and user needs to identify IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Design, develop, and implement IT systems, applications, and processes to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate existing IT infrastructure, applications, and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimization solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end‑users, resolving IT issues and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and services.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead or participate in IT projects, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery within budget and schedule.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach junior IT analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to help them develop their technical skills and expertise.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure IT solutions meet business needs and expectations.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

- Knowledge of ERP systems, other related systems like Business Intelligence, Point of Sale machines and their implementations.
- Knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Knowledge in importing data for use in reporting and software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow chart creation.
- Knowledge in Business Applications – ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year(s) GCC experience is a plus.
