About the Business Unit:
The Technology Unit within Ooredoo is the backbone of the organization providing all technology services which enable Ooredoo to deliver its services to its customers across all technology platforms, 24/7/365. In other words, it's responsible for the management of all Ooredoo networks, technology infrastructure/ platforms and processes to achieve fast time-to-market, high operational efficiency, and support product/ service innovation, and ultimately drive the financial performance of Ooredoo.
The department supports this through the effective management, operation and maintenance including new products and change requests for all BSS & OSS applications and platforms, working to further connect and integrate BSS with OSS in the new IT architecture and ensuring Ooredoo customers have full use of all services 24/7.
About the Role:
The role is responsible for the technical leadership, architecture, and delivery of all AI-related initiatives, with a particular emphasis on agentic AI systems, multi-cloud platform deployments, and automated evaluation and tuning of AI solutions. Ensures the adoption of state-of-the-art AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic AI technologies, and drives the company's Technical AI strategy and roadmap. Will own and architect scalable, distributed AI solutions, guide teams on advanced AI frameworks, and ensure alignment with business objectives and industry standards.

About You:
- 10 years' experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic AI, data management, preferably in the telco or related domains Experience in Telecom or IT.
- Proven experience designing and deploying scalable agentic AI architectures in distributed and multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS, hybrid).
- Practical experience with advanced AI systems (Agent Space, Copilot, etc.), frameworks (ADK, Lang Chain, Graph Chain, Ray, MLflow, Hugging Face, OpenAI, etc.) and MCP protocol
- Demonstrated experience with automated evaluation and tuning of AI systems Strong coding skills in Python (and optionally other languages such as R, Java, or Scala). Practical knowledge of MLOps/Dev Ops, CI/CD for AI, and model/agent lifecycle management. Experience with data engineering, data governance, and integrating AI with enterprise and network systems.
