Sports Business Systems Analyst – Mobilization Management
Role Purpose
The Sports Business Systems Analyst supports the analysis, delivery, deployment, and ongoing optimization of sports-related business systems. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation and support of Facility Management Systems (FMS/BMS), Event & Venue Applications, Mobile Applications
, and integrations with third‑party systems provided by event organizers, venue managers, sports science, and data science platforms.
Key Responsibilities
System Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze sports business systems to identify performance gaps, enhancements, and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure systems align with operational, event, and venue business requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with internal teams and external vendors to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
- Act as a bridge between business users, technical teams, and vendors.
Integration Management
- Support and oversee integration of third‑party systems and APIs with internal applications.
- Ensure seamless data flow, system interoperability, and operational efficiency.
Application Support
- Provide functional and technical support for sports and event applications.
- Manage troubleshooting, system updates, user support, and training activities.
Data & Sports Science Systems
- Support data analytics and sports science platforms.
- Collaborate with performance and analytics teams to enhance reporting and insights.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate system‑related projects, track timelines, and support successful delivery of technology initiatives.
- Work with project and delivery teams to ensure smooth mobilization and deployment.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis.
- Experience in sports, event management, venue operations
, or related domains is preferred. - Hands‑on experience with:
- Facility Management Systems (FMS/BMS)
- Event, venue, and mobile applications
- Third‑party system integrations and APIs
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
, or a related field. - Business Analysis (CBAP) or Project Management (PMP) certifications are an advantage.
