Lead Business Analyst; IT

About the Role

You will be responsible for Business Analysis work in medium to complex transformation programs and projects as a Business Analyst. You will act as Solution Requirements Owner for Technology and work with managers to identify risks and provide mitigation plans. You will support Program and Project management to plan and manage solution delivery execution, including business and technology stakeholder management. You will capture business requirements, analyze, define and establish solution requirements baseline.

You will bring together various stakeholders and outline in business terms the Business Needs and how the underlying Technology Solution will deliver expected benefits for the Organization.

• Translate business requirements into system qualities and thence into repeatable design strategies and patterns that enable those qualities (e.g. adaptability, scalability, availability, reusability, etc.).
• Create project/solution requirements baseline including the required business, technical, migration, functional and non‑functional viewpoints.
• Produce complete and high quality requirement deliverables including Business Processes, Scenarios, Use Cases, Exceptions and other required viewpoints to translate Business Requirements into actionable solution requirements.
• Manage and support traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle from initiation to solution requirements baseline, to design, build, test and deploy.
• Communicate requirements effectively to various stakeholders, considering the target audience (business community, architecture and technical teams or UAT).
• Prepare Functional Description Documentation for the Solution that is understandable to the business community and aligns with overall solution architecture and design, focusing on how end users will perceive and benefit from the solution.
• Act as part of the project team, collaborating effectively with vendors and in‑house participants at various organization levels.
• Review and provide feedback for other project key deliverables such as Solution High‑Level Design, Migration and Test Strategies, ensuring compliance with solution requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of work experience in business analysis, ideally with domain experience in airline operations (e.g., flight operations, crew operations, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge and proven track record of delivering complex business and technology transformations as a Business Analyst.
• Good understanding and awareness of technology and relevant airline industry evolution trends, risks, and opportunities.
• IT industrial certifications or post‑graduation with a specific focus on practical deployments is considered a plus.
• PMI, PMP, Prince2, CBAP or similar certifications demonstrating planning and managing complex transformation initiatives is considered a plus.

• Proven expertise in requirements engineering, process modeling, and conducting gap analysis.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, challenging environment and manage multiple parallel complex initiatives as a Business Analyst.
• Ability to work closely with technology architecture teams to bring together business needs and the required underlying technology realization, delivering expected benefits to the organization.
• Ability to collaborate across the organization in a multicultural environment with stakeholders from SME to senior management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Innovative and creative thinker.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Good cultural awareness and prior experience working in the Middle‑East is considered a plus.
