Job Description Job PurposeThe Enterprise Applications Integration Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions across various enterprise applications. The role requires hands‑on expertise in integration frameworks, middleware, APIs, and enterprise systems such as Ellucian Banner, Blackboard, SAP, Oracle EBS, SharePoint/Drupal, Azure, SailPoint, Cyber Ark, and Business Intelligence platforms. Bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English) is required.
Key Responsibilities Integration Development & Implementation- Design and develop integrations using
Java/JEE, .NET
, and modern integration frameworks. - Implement SOA-based services,
custom REST APIs
, event‑driven systems, orchestrations, and mappings. - Build integration components using:
- MOM
, ESB - XML, XSLT
- SOAP / REST services
- WSDL, UDDI
- FTP/secure file transfers
- Create database engineering objects using
Oracle and SQL Server
(tables, views, procedures, triggers). - Deploy secure transmission methods including
digital certificates, SSL/TLS, PKI
. - Integrate enterprise systems such as:
- Plan, execute, and manage integration of new applications into existing enterprise architecture.
- Ensure smooth communication and data flow across systems with minimal impact on operations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analyze, design, implement, and integrate customized solutions based on approved functional requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors to identify valuable features and technical enhancements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis for all integration issues.
- Diagnose production issues and collaborate with
DBAs, system architects, developers, and analysts
for resolution. - Communicate with software engineers to resolve logic conflicts in code.
- Test applications after enhancements, patches, upgrades, and fixes.
- Create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and functional specifications.
- Prepare integration evaluation reports and provide regular status updates.
- Assist in CAB (Change Advisory Board) processes for change requests and incident management.
- Conduct technical and functional training for staff.
- Lead knowledge‑sharing sessions and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Work in a collaborative team environment, supporting multiple client situations.
- Support architectural improvements and performance optimization efforts.
- Create and manage vendor support tickets.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in
Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering
, or related field. - Minimum
7+ years of experience
in application integration and enterprise systems. - Hands‑on experience with:
- Java/JEE, .NET, SOA, REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT, ESB, MOM, SQL/PLSQL
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, middleware, and API development.
- Bilingual proficiency in
Arabic and English
(reading & writing) –
mandatory
. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in team environments and manage multiple priorities.
