UX Specialist

Overview

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for an established technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking a skilled UX Specialist to ensure digital products deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences aligned with both user needs and business objectives. This role plays a key part in shaping end-to-end user journeys across web and mobile platforms, driving usability, accessibility compliance, and continuous experience improvements.

• User Research & Analysis
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights into user needs and behaviors.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback to support informed UX decisions.
• UX Design & Prototyping
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure designs follow responsive design standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Usability & Accessibility
  • Assess interfaces against usability best practices and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Work closely with development teams to implement accessible and user-centered solutions.
• Design Systems & Standards
  • Maintain and enhance design systems, UI libraries, and style guides.
  • Ensure design consistency across all digital products and platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align UX efforts with business objectives.
  • Provide UX input and recommendations during planning, reviews, and delivery phases.
• Testing & Optimization
  • Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to evaluate and optimize user experiences.
  • Review analytics and user feedback to drive continuous UX improvements.
• UX Documentation
  • Create and maintain UX documentation including research outputs, design specifications, and usability reports.
  • Organize and manage UX artefacts for reference and audit purposes.

• Experience
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in UX design, user research, and usability testing.
  • Practical experience with wire framing, prototyping, and user journey mapping.
  • Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
  • Experience using analytics and user feedback to inform iterative design improvements.
• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
• Certifications (Preferred)
  • UX Design certification (NN/g, HFI, or equivalent)
  • Certification in Usability Testing or Accessibility Compliance
• Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Strong understanding of usability principles and interaction design.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is an advantage.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems and UX documentation.
