Responsibilities
- Servicing existing corporate customers of QIC Group for Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident insurance products.
- Underwrite good quality risks within the authority limit specified in the Operations Manual.
- Determine insurance premiums, extent of insurance coverage and other conditions of the insurance contract.
- Assessment of risks and releasing quotations in line with the Company's underwriting guidelines and reinsurance arrangement.
- Negotiate on premium and policy terms with Clients and Insurance Brokers.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in handling underwriting of corporate accounts for Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident lines.
- Good underwriting technical & marketing skills.
- Good knowledge of Insurance Products & Services.
- Good problem-solving and negotiating skills.
