Legal Executive/Paralegal and PA to General Legal Counsel
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Executive / Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to our General Legal Counsel. This role combines the responsibilities of a paralegal with those of a personal assistant, requiring a candidate who is adept in legal administration, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Legal Support- Assist the General Legal Counsel in preparing legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and other legal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings to aid in case preparation and strategy development.
- Maintain and organize the digital and physical legal filing system.
- Monitor legal regulations and ensure compliance with laws and corporate policies.
- Manage the General Legal Counsel’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Prepare and edit documents, presentation materials, and correspondence.
- Serve as a liaison between the Legal Department and other departments, external counsel, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and track the progress of ongoing legal cases, contracts and agreements.
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management.
- Organize and archive all legal documents and files related to completed and ongoing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
- Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant; experience as a personal assistant is a plus.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and the legal process.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with various levels of management and external contacts.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
