A Stock Control Analyst manages inventory, ensuring optimal stock to meet demand while minimizing costs through data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement, focusing on accuracy, tracking, supplier liaison, and reporting to support supply chain efficiency. Key duties involve monitoring stock movements, resolving discrepancies, managing purchase orders, and running stock takes.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage daily operations, ensure accuracy in receiving/dispatch, and oversee storage/distribution.
- System Process and Improvement: Maintain inventory databases, implement controls, test systems, and develop strategies to reduce losses.
- Collaboration: Liaise with End-Users to align stock with business goals.
- Report & Auditing: Prepare reports for management, conduct cycle counts, participate in physical audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- Experience: Previous inventory control/supply chain roles.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Inventory Software (SAP, etc.), Excel, data analysis tools. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
