The Level B helicopter technician is able to work according to standardized working methods, apply the methods described in work cards and technical documentation, and establish simple fault diagnostics. The Level B technician is called upon to supervise one or two Level A technicians. He can work independently on an aircraft for simple maintenance acts for which his aptitude has been recognized.
For more complex interventions, the technician works under the direction of a C‑level team leader.
- Perform aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved work cards, manufacturer technical documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out simple maintenance tasks independently on recognized systems; support and execute more complex tasks under the supervision of a C-level team leader.
- Supervise and guide one or two Level A technicians during assigned maintenance activities.
- Ensure the quality, compliance, and traceability of all maintenance actions to meet contractual, safety, and airworthiness requirements.
- Prepare aircraft for flight operations, including line and runway maintenance, preventive inspections, and corrective repairs.
- Conduct visual and instrumental inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to verify condition and conformity.
- Assist in fault diagnosis and determine corrective actions in coordination with the team leader.
- Dismantle, repair, replace, adjust, reassemble, and functionally test aircraft systems in accordance with technical documentation.
- Systematically use work cards and technical manuals throughout all maintenance operations.
- Certify completed maintenance tasks, ensure work order follow-up and closure, and contribute to accurate maintenance records.
- Manage spare parts usage, ordering, and timely return of unserviceable or repairable components.
- Maintain individual records including service bulletins, service letters, and technician competency logs.
- Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) and maintain an up-to-date technician logbook validated by quality control.
- Comply with hygiene, safety, and human factors requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Apply all organizational, customer, and regulatory safety procedures and immediately report errors, anomalies, or incidents.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including tool accountability and housekeeping.
- Safeguard the integrity of tools, equipment, documentation, and assigned ancillary resources.
- 3‑6 years extensive experience in a related field.
- Degree(s):
Military CT1 / BE Helicopter Mechanic Certificate or Part 66B. - Knowledge of military environment in Gulf countries.

- Availability and readiness to act.

- Relational qualities: humility, ability to establish/maintain good relationships with Technician B or C Level using the English language.
- Ability to address and explain technical issues.
- Ability to integrate in a foreign environment in general and in a Gulf country in particular.
