Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Airport Cleaner located in Doha, Qatar. The Airport Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas of the airport, including terminal buildings, restrooms, waiting lounges, and other facilities. Daily tasks include cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floors, and windows, disposing of waste, ensuring supplies like soap and paper towels are stocked, and reporting any maintenance issues.
The role contributes to creating a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, use of cleaning tools, and basic maintenance
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience in a similar role or in a commercial cleaning environment is an advantage
- Flexibility to work on shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
