Electrical Technician

Job Description

The Plant Technician will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing AWG systems, bottling line machinery, and related electrical components. The role requires hands‑on technical expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to support continuous improvement across the plant.

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair bottling line equipment and AWGs, including motors, conveyors, sensors, PLCs, solenoid valves, electrical panels, power supplies and packaging machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of machines and electrical systems, including transformers, switch gear, and circuit breakers.
• Lead commissioning and decommissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment as required.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to improve plant reliability and performance.
• Learn to independently operate machinery, perform changeovers, and ensure production continuity.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE usage.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.
• Support production KPIs, quality control enhancement, SOP compliance, and waste reduction targets.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Support overall bottling plant operations as assigned by management.
• Take on additional responsibilities and special projects in line with plant objectives.

• 3‑year Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Hands‑on experience with bottling lines, AWGs, or industrial equipment HVAC (preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, plant operations, Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Must be locally available in Qatar.

Salary: 3,000 to 3,500 QAR per month with company housing and transportation provided.
