Job Overview

Metal Supervisor (Fabrication & Welding) – Doha, Qatar – Full-time – Senior Level (5–7+ Years)

Lead our fabrication team with 5+ years in Stainless Steel (SS) and Mild Steel (MS). Supervise daily workshop operations, interpret engineering drawings, ensure high‑quality finishing, and solve technical problems on the floor. Act as the bridge between management and labor, ensuring safety targets are met efficiently.

• Supervise fabricators, welders, and helpers; assign daily tasks based on production schedules.
• Monitor workflow to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Resolve technical conflicts immediately, addressing fit‑up, measurements, or material shortages.
• Oversee fabrication and welding of MS structures and SS architectural elements.
• Ensure precise cutting, bending, welding, and assembly processes.
• Inspect final products for quality; ensure finishing (polishing/grinding) meets client visual standards before delivery.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, maps, and fabrication plans to explain specifications to the workforce.
• Prepare daily progress reports on production output, material usage, and labor attendance.
• Calculate material requirements and request stock replenishment to avoid downtime.
• Enforce strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols on the shop floor.
• Conduct quality checks on weld joints and dimensions to prevent rework.
• Maintain discipline and cleanliness in the workshop.

• Minimum 5–7+ years in Metal Fabrication; at least 2 years in a Supervisory/Foreman role.
• Deep technical knowledge of SS (304, 316) and MS.
• Ability to weld and fabricate personally to demonstrate or fix complex issues.
• Expert blueprint reading and fabrication plan interpretation skills.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills for reporting.

• Vocational Trade Certificate in Fabrication, Welding, or Metalworking.
• Safety Certifications (e.g., IOSH, OSHA) or Quality Control certification.

• Stand for long periods and inspect workshop sites.
• Vision required for quality control and fine finishing inspection.
• Salary: QAR 3,500.00 – 4,500.00 per month (based on experience).
• Company provided housing and transportation to/from site.
• Return Economy Class Air Ticket every 2 years (as per policy).
• Private Medical Insurance (as per Qatar Labor Law).
• Schedule:
  
  Saturday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
