Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Steel Fabricator with a strong background in Mild Steel (MS) processing. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of hands‑on experience in the full fabrication lifecycle from cutting and welding to grinding and final finishing. You will be responsible for fabricating high quality metal structures and components, ensuring they meet precise specifications and visual standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fabrication & Welding

• Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand specifications.
• Execute precise MS (Mild Steel) fabrication, including measuring, cutting, and shaping metal materials.
• Perform high-quality welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) on mild steel components to ensure structural integrity.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamps to ensure accurate fit‑up before welding.

2. Grinding & Finishing

• Operate angle grinders and sanders to smooth rough edges and remove excess weld slag.
• Perform surface finishing to prepare steel for painting, powder coating, or galvanizing.
• Ensure all finished products are free of burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects.

3. Fixing, Assembly & Installation

• Assemble structural metal components using bolts, screws, and welding techniques.
• Fix and repair damaged steel structures or existing fabrications on‑site or in the workshop.
• Assist in the installation of fabricated items (e.g., gates, railings, structural beams) at client sites.

4. Safety & Maintenance

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools.
• Strictly adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and safety protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a Steel Fabricator or Welder.
• Material Expertise:
  Extensive knowledge of working with Mild Steel (MS) plates, tubes, and sections.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Skilled in welding, cutting (plasma/torch), drilling, and tapping.
• Finishing:
  Expert ability in grinding, polishing, and achieving a high‑quality aesthetic finish.
• Blueprint Reading:
  Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and diagrams.

Certifications:

• Required:
  
  WQT (Welder Qualification Test) or certification in 3G & 4G positions (SMAW/Stick or GMAW/MIG).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and good hand‑eye coordination.
• Note:
  
  Experience with Stainless Steel or Aluminum is a plus, though MS is the primary focus.
• Salary: QAR 1,800.00 – 2,650.00 per month (Based on experience/skill test).

• Travel:
  Return Economy Class Air Ticket (Every 2 years or as per policy).
• Medical:
  Private Medical Insurance (as per Qatar Labor Law).

  Saturday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
