Role Overview The Factory Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of the PLC automation manufacturing facility, with a primary focus on PLC control panel assembly, wiring, testing, and quality assurance. This role involves planning and scheduling production activities, ensuring adherence to technical standards, supervising skilled technicians, maintaining compliance with industry norms, and supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). The Factory Manager will also be accountable to maintain facility, resource utilization, and continuous improvement of shop floor operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing & Production Oversight:
    Lead and supervise daily factory operations focused on PLC control panel assembly, wiring, labeling, cable management, and termination work. Translate engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOQs and material lists into executable production activities. Plan, schedule, and allocate workload based on project timelines and priorities. Review panel layouts, schematics, and I/O allocation to ensure accuracy.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    Implement and enforce QA/QC processes aligned with IEC, UL, ISO, and project specifications. Conduct systematic inspections and compliance audits at various production stages. Ensure documentation accuracy including as-built drawings, inspection checklists, and compliance reports. Manage NCRs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Testing & FAT Support:
    Coordinate and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with engineering, commissioning, and client teams. Verify I/O continuity, device simulation, control logic readiness, and power tests. Ensure test procedures, acceptance records, and punch lists are properly documented and closed.
  • Resource & Facility Management:
    Oversee manpower planning, skills development, recruitment needs, and performance evaluations. Manage inventory, procurement planning, stock control, and vendor coordination. Maintain safe, clean, and compliance-ready factory environment including tools, test equipment calibration, and PPE adherence. Lead initiatives for productivity improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost optimization.
  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
    Develop KPIs and weekly/monthly reporting dashboards for management. Drive improvements in workflow, material handling, and process automation.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

Minimum 6–8 years of experience in industrial automation production or control panel manufacturing; at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Strong knowledge of PLC hardware (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, HIMA, etc.) and automation control wiring standards. Familiarity with instrumentation, control system integration, and communication protocols. Experience in FAT, QA/QC processes, and production planning tools.

  • Proficient in Planning & scheduling systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication and client handling skills.
  • Lean manufacturing and 5S experience preferred.
  • Having Qatar Visa and Driving license preferred
