Pediatric Nurse

We are looking for a Pediatric Nurse for specialized care for infants, children, and adolescents within healthcare settings. The role involves working closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that young patients receive the best care for their medical, emotional, and developmental needs.

• Evaluate the health status of pediatric patients, including conducting physical exams, monitoring vital signs, and tracking progress in ongoing treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications, vaccinations, injections, IVs, and other necessary treatments according to pediatric protocols.
• Provide appropriate care for wounds, fractures, or surgical sites and ensure proper healing.
• Implement pain management strategies for both acute and chronic conditions, including appropriate use of analgesics, physical comfort measures, and emotional support.
• Work alongside pediatricians, pediatric specialists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for children.
• Participate in care planning meetings, contributing to discussions on treatment plans and patient progress.
• Teach parents and caregivers how to manage medical conditions at home, including medication administration, follow-up care, and home health monitoring.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with health privacy laws and hospital policies.
• Provide routine physical exams, wellness checks, and vaccinations to prevent illness and monitor the child's growth and development.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing qualification.
• Certification in pediatric nursing or pediatric care is preferred.
• Valid QCHP.
• At least 02‑03 years of experience in pediatric nursing, though more experienced candidates may be preferred.
• Experience in specialized pediatric care areas such as neonatal intensive care, pediatric ICU, or emergency care can be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric care, including common childhood diseases, vaccinations, and growth patterns.
