Role

Summary:

The Senior / Charge Nurse will play a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high‑quality nursing care. This position is responsible for supervising nursing teams, coordinating patient services, and supporting the implementation of clinical standards and hospital policies.

• Oversee and manage daily operations within the assigned unit or department.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing and support staff.
• Ensure delivery of patient‑centered care in line with hospital protocols and international best practices.
• Monitor staff performance and participate in appraisals and training.
• Maintain effective communication between nursing teams, physicians, and other departments.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid nursing license (QCHP license preferred or eligibility to obtain one).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, with prior supervisory or charge nurse responsibilities preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
