We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Welding Inspector to join our team for Oil & Gas plant projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GRE, NDT, and piping inspection, with proven experience in welding inspection and quality assurance/control activities in the Oil & Gas sector.

• Perform inspection and monitoring of all welding and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ).
• Conduct RTFI (Radiographic Film Interpretation) for welds, castings, and related components.
• Ensure that NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) is performed in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain proper documentation of inspection results.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Support and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in GRE, NDT, and piping inspection, with at least 2 years dedicated to inspection roles.
• Prior work experience in Oil & Gas plants in Qatar is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, etc.), and QA/QC practices.

• CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector or AWS Senior CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification.
• ASNT Level II Certification in relevant NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
• Additional relevant QA/QC or inspection certifications will be an advantage.

Full-time

• Do you have at least 10 years of experience in GRE, NDT, and piping inspection?
• Are you certified as CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector or AWS Senior CWI?
• Are you proficient in Radiographic Film Interpretation (RTFI) of welds, castings, and joints?
• Are you currently residing in Qatar?
• Do you have additional QA/QC or inspection-related certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, BGAS, API, etc.)?
