Project QA/QC Manager - (Oil and Gas)

Location:

Qatar

Rotation: 105/15 Working 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. Duration is 3-4 years.

Client Profile:

Our client is seeking to employ a Project QA/QC Manager - (Oil and Gas) to join their team, the role reports To:
Project Director (administratively) and the Company's Quality Group Director (functionally). The role is on a Natural Gas Liquids project.

Responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 covering the full project scope.

Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.

Establishing and monitoring quality related Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for all project execution phases.

Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.

Coordinate external inspection agencies when required.

Keep close liaison with the Client and any other stakeholder regarding all site QA/QC issues during all phases of project execution.

Check purchase and sub-contract requisitions and evaluate vendor's and Sub-Contractor's quotations with regard to inspection matters, as applicable.

Organize and provide quality awareness training sessions.

Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Engineers and Inspectors on site.

Requirements:

BSc Engineering or equivalent. HND or equivalent could be accepted if accompanied with strong professional qualifications and experience.

Candidates with Civil Engineering or E&I background only, will not be considered.

15 years working experience with at least 10 years in QC Engineer/Manager post in oil & gas related projects.

Able demonstrate sound experience in the execution of all phases in a typical Construction Contract for an oil & gas facility.
