Quality Control Manager

FOR EPC OIL & GAS COMPANY IN SYRIA

Job Type: Full-time

• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the project quality control systems and procedures.
• Oversee all QC activities across fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Ensure adherence to ASME, API, and other international standards in welding, materials, mechanical systems, and piping works.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and client quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, third‑party inspectors, and vendors on all quality‑related matters.
• Manage NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and preventive measures to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QC engineers, inspectors, and site quality teams.
• Prepare and review Quality Control Plans (QCP), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction departments to ensure quality integration at every project stage.
• Report quality performance and compliance status to senior management and project leadership.

• Minimum 20 years of progressive Quality Control experience in the EPC Oil & Gas industry, preferably in GCC or Europe.
• Strong background in ASME standards, with proven experience managing quality for large‑scale industrial or energy projects.
• Certified in ISO 9001: 2015 (Lead Auditor) or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multicultural teams and client interactions.
• Must be willing to relocate to Syria.
