Job Description
- Lead and supervise the barista team during daily shifts.
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and specialty beverages.
- Train new and existing staff on coffee techniques, recipes, service standards, and equipment care.
- Maintain quality control across all drink preparations and customer interactions.
- Manage workflow behind the bar to ensure efficiency during peak hours.
- Calibrate espresso machines and grinders to ensure optimal extraction and flavor.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Support Outlet manager with scheduling, performance feedback, and operational decisions.
- Handle customer issues or complaints with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced coffee knowledge, including espresso extraction, milk texturing, and brewing methods
- Strong leadership and training abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Experience operating and maintaining specialty coffee equipment
- Prior barista experience (typically 1–3 years minimum; leadership experience preferred)
