Food and Beverage Supervisor

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and lead by example to ensure the team demonstrates the highest standards of grooming by adhering to the Company Dress Code Policy.
  • Ensure that the assigned area of responsibility reflects the highest standards of hygiene and maintenance, by adhering to the Company Food Safety, Health & Safety procedures, and promptly reporting and following up on maintenance issues.
  • Provide a high level of engagement with guests by remaining attentive throughout their visit and ensuring staff delivers prompt, efficient service. Follow cash‑handling procedures and ensure the team is trained on billing and processes to avoid cash variances.
  • Have a full and comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant menu and share it with the team to ensure customers are advised correctly about the specialties offered.
  • Identify opportunities for improving customer service and communicate them to the Restaurant Management Team to enhance the brand image.
  • Monitor the service provided against business standards in conjunction with the line manager, recording and maintaining customer feedback to implement appropriate action plans.
  • Monitor daily staff coverage according to trade levels to ensure that the assigned area is efficiently and effectively resourced.
  • Monitor daily product quality and availability, and report any issues to the supplying department.
  • Identify and create sales activity for the team through upselling programs and incentives to support management in achieving targets.
  • Monitor all daily wastage and breakage, ensuring staff record it correctly for data accuracy.
About you
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of job‑related experience
  • Customer experience focus
  • Knowledge of stock control and wastage management
  • Knowledge of international food and beverage standards
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Experience with Micros or other POS software
  • KPIs knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
