Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, maintaining high standards of service and cuisine, and driving the overall success of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in restaurant management, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste. Manage the restaurant's budget, tracking expenses, analyzing financial performance, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, exceeding their expectations at every touchpoint. Train and mentor staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service. Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to continuously improve the overall dining experience.
Recruit, train, and onboard new staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to the team, promoting professional development and growth. Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues in a timely and constructive manner. Build and maintain a high-performing team that is motivated, engaged, and committed to achieving the restaurant's goals. Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and attract new clientele.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and events. Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Between years old. Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fine Dining Restaurant Management, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, excellent problem‑solving abilities, ability to work under pressure and multitask, and a passion for providing exceptional service. In‑depth knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
