Job DescriptionThe F&B Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Duty Manager and Supervisor to manage the shift operations of F&B outlets, with a particular focus on sales, customer service, merchandising of stocks, staff allocation, cash spot‑checks, shift closing, to ensure service standards and customer service are maintained at the highest level.
Responsibilities- Co‑ordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing work of porters and service team members, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, timely and efficiently.
- Control proper documentation and record of cleaning materials, stocks, food management, weekly stock, and mark‑out reports in line with the HCE (Health Conscious Establishment) checklist.
- Monitor and address any issues related to stock to maximize sales and maintain the appearance of the F&B outlets.
- Assign staff deployment on a weekly basis to ensure the service sequence is maintained at high standards at all times.
- Conduct cash spot‑checks on a shift‑basis to monitor cash discrepancies among associates at all times.
- Conduct shift training as per the training plan, ensuring consistent high service standards are delivered and maintained.
- Monitor sales targets during the shift and motivate staff to achieve them.
- Serve all meals and beverages to standard, ensuring highest quality and consistency at all times; order daily requisitions by following proper PAR stock to ensure availability.
- Reduce and minimize food wastage through proper ordering, controlling costs during the shift.
- Check and monitor near‑expiry products to ensure proper rotation in all locations.
- Control food management, including transfer in and transfer out of food items.
- Conduct all cleaning activities within the outlet and F&B facilities with assistance from the sanitation team to achieve high hygiene standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of job‑related experience.
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks regularly.
- Able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Creative and innovative; able to design new and effective solutions.
- Proven track record of managing staff on a day‑to‑day basis.
