Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Partie – Breakfast at The St. Regis in Doha, Qatar. The Chef De Partie will oversee breakfast preparations, ensuring quality and consistency in accordance with the hotel's established recipes and standards. Responsibilities include supervising junior team members, managing kitchen stations during breakfast service, maintaining hygiene and safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely service.
The chef will also contribute to menu development and assist with inventory and kitchen operations as needed.
- Proficiency in breakfast preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Leadership skills in supervising kitchen operations and managing junior staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and best kitchen practices
- Experience in menu planning, recipe execution, and maintaining consistency
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to guest needs
- Culinary certification or relevant qualifications; previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds
