Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly skilled Manager to lead a high-end specialty coffee café and restaurant in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in specialty coffee operations, an artisan approach to coffee brewing and presentation, and a proven ability to manage a premium café environment with high service standards. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, maintaining product excellence, and leading a dynamic team of baristas, kitchen, and service staff.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the specialty café and restaurant, ensuring smooth workflow and superior service quality.
• Manage and mentor baristas, kitchen, and front-of-house staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of all specialty coffee beverages, artisan drinks, and food offerings.
• Maintain and enforce high hygiene, quality, and safety standards in line with Qatar regulatory and company policies.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, profitability, and customer engagement.
• Control inventory, monitor wastage, and ensure efficient supply chain coordination.
• Coordinate with suppliers for specialty coffee beans, equipment, and other café essentials.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's barista skills and knowledge of specialty coffee techniques.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Ensure the café reflects a strong brand identity and premium ambiance aligned with the company's vision.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

• In-depth knowledge of specialty coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles.
• Hands‑on expertise in manual brewing methods such as V60, Chemex, Aero Press, French Press, Syphon, and Cold Brew.
• Proficiency with espresso‑based beverages, including advanced milk texturing, latte art, and flavor calibration.
• Experience in coffee cupping, sensory evaluation, and maintaining taste consistency.
• Knowledge of roasting profiles, coffee storage, and bean freshness management.
• Familiarity with third‑wave coffee trends, sustainability practices, and equipment maintenance (grinders, espresso machines, scales, etc.).
• Ability to train and upskill baristas in artisan brewing techniques and customer interaction.

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in a specialty café or artisan coffeehouse environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Prior work experience in Europe or South Africa will be an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of international café service standards and hospitality operations.
• Proven ability to manage business performance and team efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, F&B Management, or related field (preferred).
