Position: Sous Chef - All Day Dining

Positions

  • Sous Chef – Hamam Shawaya (2‑4 years, Doha, Qatar)
  • Chef De Partie – Confidential Company (3‑5 years, Doha, Qatar)
  • Chef De Partie – Madre Integrated Engineering (2‑8 years, West Bay, Doha, Qatar)
  • Cook – Pakistani cuisines – Teyseer Services (5‑10 years, Ras Laffan, Qatar)
  • Commis Chef – Hamam Shawaya (2‑5 years, Doha, Qatar)
  • Pastry & Bakery Chef – (requires valid food‑handling certificate, location unspecified)
Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff training and mentor team members.
  • Develop seasonal menus, including Arabic, continental, and Pakistani cuisines.
  • Ensure sanitation compliance, food safety, and quality control.
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and cost‑control targets.
  • Lead team development, provide leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Support pastry kitchen operations and create innovative dessert menus.
  • Assist in kitchen operations, collaborate on menus, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Design Arabic menus and organize pastry preparation.
  • Provide culinary creativity that enhances guest experience.
  • Train junior cooks and commis chefs.
  • Maintain hygiene standards and assist in inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with food‑handling certificates and health regulations.
  • Prepare meals for events, guests, and high‑volume environments.
  • Implement and uphold quality and health‐safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Required experience as stated per position (minimum 2 years for most roles).
  • Valid food‑handling certificate.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in Arabic, continental, Pakistani, or pastry cuisines.
  • Ability to manage inventory, costs, and kitchen operations efficiently.
