We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Backend Developer - Java with Restful API and Spring Boot in the Banking Domain with a client based in Qatar.

• Expertise in building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework, with a strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope.
• Architect and implement solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
• Optimize API performance and scalability to meet the demands of a rapidly growing user base.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.
• Experience with Dev Ops practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of the Banking Domain.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in coordinating with infrastructure teams for successful application deployment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
