Job Description

Join to apply for the Senior QA Engineer (Automation) role at Snoonu.

• Primarily focus on backend API test automation using Java.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend services.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and QA team members to ensure high‑quality API functionality and performance.
• Work in a fast‑changing environment where priorities and tasks may shift.
• Contribute to testing efforts across other areas as needed, including Android UI tests, iOS UI tests, or internal tooling.
• Support continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable test execution.
• Help improve testing processes, frameworks, and overall QA architecture.

• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP principles (Collections, Lambda expressions, Exception handling, Memory management).
• Experience with HTTP/HTTPS, Web Sockets, gRPC, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman or similar).
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Builder, etc.).
• Experienced with layered test framework architecture (3‑tier, 4‑/5‑layer, MVC).
• Ability to follow KISS, DRY, YAGNI principles.
• Experience with test reporting (Allure, HTML reports, loggers, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Bonus:
  Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
