Location:

Doha, Qatar.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and providing swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

• Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergency situations.
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of various ages and abilities.
• Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices.
• Assist in maintaining pool cleanliness and performing basic pool maintenance tasks.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on lifesaving techniques and safety protocols.
• Complete accurate reports of incidents, accidents, and rescues.
• Communicate effectively with patrons, staff, and management.
• Assist in organizing and supervising aquatic events and activities.
• Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness to perform water rescues.

• Current lifeguard certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard and/or swimming instructor preferred.
• Excellent observation skills and ability to remain alert at all times.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of water safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to use and maintain lifesaving equipment.
• Basic understanding of pool maintenance and water chemistry.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and withstand prolonged sun exposure.
• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development in aquatic safety and instruction.
