Northbourne Advisory is seeking an experienced
Speechwriter
to join a leading institution in
Doha, Qatar
. This full-time, on-site role will support senior leadership in developing speeches and talking points that reflect Qatar's voice on the regional and international stage.

The ideal candidate will
combine strategic understanding with strong narrative instincts
. You will craft language that connects policy, culture, and purpose, and
ensure that leadership communications are clear, credible, and resonant across audiences
.

Role type:
Full time, embedded with client organisation

Level:
Mid to senior communications professional
(eight or more years in a similar role)

• Research, draft, and refine speeches and remarks for senior leaders across a range of public engagements
• Shape narratives that communicate institutional vision and national priorities
• Align content with strategy, tone, and audience expectations
• Collaborate with communications, policy, and programme teams to prepare accurate and engaging material
• Develop briefing notes, event summaries, and contextual research
• Contribute to leadership communications across publications, interviews, and cultural programming

• Eight to 12 years of experience in communications, journalism, or public affairs
• Proven ability to write speeches for senior figures or major public platforms
• Strong awareness of Gulf and international affairs
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English;
  Arabic is an advantage
• Capacity to express complex ideas simply and persuasively
• Discretion, curiosity, and the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders
• Ability to support across multiple time-zones, and geographies. This role will require regular and consistent out of hours work

articulate a leadership voice
that reflects purpose, authenticity, and cultural intelligence.
