Ensures that the clearance operation runs smoothly i.e. that the shipments are pre‑cleared or post‑cleared in a timely manner and complies with the regulatory and customer requirements through the preparation of appropriate freight documentation and relevant customs clearance authorities.

• Prepare all kinds of Customs Declarations according to Qatar Customs regulations.
• Onsite Brokers to ensure customs clearance activities and inspections are done in a timely manner.
• Onsite Brokers to ensure Inspection is done in a safe way, goods are properly packed and re‑packed after inspection.
• Onsite Brokers to report any incompliance matter or any damage or loss of the items.
• Classify goods according to tariff coding system.
• Examine product information to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Pay, or arrange for payment of, taxes and duties on shipments.
• Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
• Clear goods through customs and to their destinations for clients.
• Coordinate logistics or other business operations.
• Calculate duty and tariff payments owed on shipments.
• Calculate data to inform organizational operations.
• Stay abreast of changes in import or export laws or regulations by reading current literature.
• Update knowledge of legal or regulatory environments.
• Request or compile necessary import documentation, such as customs invoices, certificates of origin, and cargo‑control documents.
• Coordinate regulatory documentation activities.
• Advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, quotas, or other customs‑related matters.
• Advise others on legal or regulatory compliance matters.
• Monitor or trace the location of goods at customs area.
• Confer with officials in various agencies to facilitate clearance of goods through customs and quarantine.
• Post bonds for the products being imported or assist clients in obtaining bonds.
• Maintain relationships with customs officials in other ports to expedite clearing of cargo.
• Develop business relationships.
• Apply for tariff concessions or for duty drawbacks and other refunds.
• Prepare regulatory or compliance documentation.

• Having Valid Customs Brokerage License from Qatar.
• Knowledge of imports/exports documents.
• Good knowledge of imports exports/procedures.
• Knowledge of the industry, working areas and stakeholders – shipping lines, CFS, transporters.
• Extensive knowledge of customs requirements.
• Results driven and attention to details.
• High degree of written, verbal and organizational skills.
• Diligent attention to details.
