Storekeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Storekeeper to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining an organized storage facility. This role is crucial in supporting our operations by effectively controlling the flow of materials and supplies.

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using digital systems
• Issue materials and supplies as per departmental requirements
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage area
• Prepare and submit inventory reports to management
• Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete items
• Assist in implementing and improving inventory management processes
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the storage area
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required
• Basic math skills for inventory calculations and reporting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in implementing and improving inventory control processes
• Diploma or Certificate in Store keeping, Supply Chain, or related discipline (preferred)
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in storage facilities
• Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and inventory management systems
