Job Title:

Claims Handler – Office-based, Doncaster

Salary: £24,000 per year

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We’re looking for a proactive Claims Handler to join our existing team in Doncaster. This office-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in keeping processes running smoothly. You’ll be handling vehicle damage claims from start to finish, ensuring accurate records, timely processing, and excellent communication with internal teams and external partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Managing and investigating vehicle damage claims for both transported vehicles and subcontract partners.

* Recording accurate claims information and ensuring compliance with industry guidelines.

* Communicating effectively with suppliers, customers, and third-party claims handlers.

* Keeping our claims system up-to-date and maintaining thorough documentation.

* Processing invoices and liaising with the accounts team as required.

* Collaborating with depot staff, drivers, and other contacts to support investigations.

* Assisting with any additional reasonable tasks assigned by the management team.

Who We’re Looking For:

* Someone with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.

* Good educational background and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

* Experience in claims handling is a plus, but not essential.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Comfortable dealing with internal teams and external suppliers or customers.

* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and works well as part of a team.
