Responsibilities- Greet visitors with a warm, professional demeanour and attend to their needs promptly.
- Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain a clean, organised reception area, ensuring all signage and health‑and‑safety posters are up to date.
- Provide a site safety brief to every visitor and support building evacuation procedures.
- Assist with client events, front‑of‑house stock management, and training of new and temporary team members.
- Control access to the premises, verify credentials, issue visitor badges and monitor for suspicious activity.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues for clients, guests and employees promptly and professionally.
- Manage administrative duties such as mail sorting, courier coordination, meeting‑room booking, visitor figure tracking, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems.
- Collaborate with security, FM, and WPM teams to ensure smooth cross‑departmental operations.
- Adhere to company uniform guidelines and maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience in a reception, switchboard or room‑booking environment.
- Qualified first aider or willingness to undertake the course.
- Experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Calm, professional behaviour in fast‑paced and challenging situations.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to service delivery.
A Level (or equivalent) is desirable. All necessary training will be provided where experience is lacking.
