We are currently seeking a dedicated person to join our dynamic team. The business is a family run company and proud National supplier of Landscape and Garden Products to the Gardening sector. Our foundations are built on over 20 years of front-line knowledge and experience, with commitment to maintaining high service levels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all booking in of deliveries from our distribution centre in Kirk Sandall to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. This role involves dealing effectively with customers, inputting deliveries onto our carriers portals, using Sage to create delivery paperwork, liaising with the warehouse manager and picking teams and general office administration. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, a problem-solving outlook, excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.

This role will suit someone who has previously worked in Customer Service, ideally with some background in logistics. Hours are 8.30am till 5pm Monday to Friday

Job Description:

* Ensure timely and effective delivery of customer orders by phone and email

* Keeping a log of all deliveries due for despatch and checking against daily manifests

* Working closely with the warehouse team to manage work loads, changes in the daily plan etc

* Using Sage to create delivery documents ahead of despatch

* Work collaboratively with sales, logistics, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experience and improve product performance

* Supporting the Sales Order Processing team as required

Requirements:

* Proven experience in logistics, customer service, or service management (2 years+ preferred)

* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills

* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
