* Generate sales proposals in line with requests for quotation. This process may involve liaison with the sales contact, the customer, the Test Centre Manager and the Proposals Manager, to produce a compliant technical response.
* Interface with external suppliers to receive supporting OEM quotes
* Day to day involvement with the Proposals Team.
* Co-operation with the planning and scheduling of the Proposals Team to meet enquiry and support request deadlines.
* Liaison and interaction with the EMEA Food Team colleagues based throughout Europe
* Participation in the Food Team and overall EMEA sales meetings.
* On-going education, training and development in application and product knowledge.
* Familiarisation with current industry legislation.
* Use of in-house sales tools required to prepare quotations
* Participation in Sales/Engineering contract handover.
* Participation in Test activities as required.
* Participation in site visits as required.# Your qualifications

Given the broad nature of the role, the candidate should have a good knowledge of general material handling and process equipment, ideally from within the Food sector.
