Role Overview
Our client is recruiting for a Principal Planning Officer for their Doncaster Office to manage a solar farm application until the funding runs out or the project completes. The role is part of a national infrastructure project with bespoke milestones and is overseen by the government, requiring local authority support.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and oversee the development of a solar farm in Doncaster.
- Coordinate with national infrastructure projects and development consent orders.
- Collaborate with the local authority to address capacity issues.
- Planning and development management experience at a Principal Planner level.
- Experience with national infrastructure projects.
- Solar farm planning experience, or involvement in national significance infrastructure projects or development consent orders.
3 days a week, with flexible days; workload may vary.
