A brilliant opportunity is now available to join a progressive and multi-national organisation at their purpose built manufacturing and processing plant based in Doncaster. These positions are long term with the opportunity for training and progression.

No Experience Required as full training will be provided.

The Quality Inspector Role;

• Following Safe Working Practices and Health & Safety guidelines
• Packaging of finished product to customer specifications
• Working to production and quality schedules
• Working as a team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
• Carrying out visual, dimensional and hardness checks on the extruded profiles.
• Performing Tensile tests on material as and when required
• Performing bending test for material 6101
• Performing electrical conductivity report
• Performing calibration of internal equipment
• Verification of complaints and relaying the information to the quality manager
• Liaising with the die shop staff and production manager when material does not conform to the standards.
• Daily update of the record of certificates of conformity.
• Putting in the Libra system the chemical composition of the billets.
• Scraping material when necessary.
• Cleaning quality areas when necessary.
• Making the certificates of conformity to deliver to the customer

The Quality Inspector Candidate;

• Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given
• Highly motivated and driven
• Able to commit to a rotating shift patten
• Ability to comply with Health and Safety on site
• Ensuring all Personal Protective Equipment (provided) is used correctly
