A national waste management business with a staggering success and growth rate over the last 20-30 years is looking to recruit 2 Internal Client Relationship Managers asap. Salary £26,500- £28,500 plus bonuses to circa £3,000 - £5,000 plus company benefits. Office based in South Yorkshire.

Your remit will be to manage client relationships through effective administration, systems management and client liaison. You will be highly organised, computer literate, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will be capable of working towards crucial team targets and personal targets centred around client account growth.

This role is more weighted towards Customer service than Sales, although your team make up the commercial and sales team. You will be given some designated accounts to manage, and will be the customers main point of contact for all account queries.

As an account manager you will work within a team to manage a large portfolio of customers dealing with everyday tasks to tenders and proposals. Through effective communication, networking and good customer service, your role will be vital in maintaining and growing our existing customer base. You will be tasked with forging excellent long-standing relationships with your customers meeting all their operational needs on a day-to-day basis and maximising their spend through proactive account management.

The key is to know your customers inside out, knowing the margins we need to be at to win all the work whilst understanding margins, developing your knowledge on ‘What is a good price’. The overall objective is to maximise spend through effective account management.
