As a Merchant Branch Manager, you’ll build strong, lasting connections with customers by delivering personalised, high‑quality service. Working from our concession within a partnering builder’s merchant, you’ll maximise walk‑in opportunities, nurture relationships with local customers and businesses, and provide reliable hire solutions.
What Does It Take to Succeed as a Merchant Branch Manager?- Experience in construction products and equipment or a managerial/supervisory background in a similar company.
- Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding performance targets, prioritising tasks, and driving customer‑focused solutions.
- Commitment to continuous development and expansion of product knowledge.
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
- Highly adaptable, self‑motivated and resourceful in tackling challenges.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to balance workload and respond efficiently to service demands.
- Independently oversee the HSS concession within our partnering builder’s merchant, delivering expert assistance to customers for their hire needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell products.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and long‑term loyalty.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets with a customer‑first approach.
