HGV Mechanic - £45.5k – Monday to Friday only – Doncaster

The position of HGV Mechanic is 42 hrs. a week covering shifts from 6am to 8pm on a weekly Rota

Hours:

6am to 3pm and 11am to 8pm

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

Pension:
Company contributions min of 7% up to 10%

The HGV Mechanic will inspect, report, repair and service all the company’s fleet from trailers, road vehicles and factory transport.

The role is varied and depends on the needs of the department. It will include the inspection and conduct of pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards with all related paperwork to be completed accurately and in good time as well as general garage housekeeping.

The team is small which means that everyone supports each other with a range of ad hoc duties, as required.

To apply , you will need:

Full UK Driving Licence – HGV Class C+E licence is essential.

An industry recognised qualification, either City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.

Have previous HGV mechanical experience with excellent mechanical diagnostic skills.
