Overview

HGV Mechanic - £45.5k - Monday to Friday only - Doncaster.

The position is 42 hrs a week covering shifts from 6am to 8pm on a weekly rota. Hours typically include 6am to 3pm and 11am to 8pm. Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays. Pension:
Company contributions min of 7% up to 10%. Extras include employee assistance program, free parking, on a bus route, near to the train station. Environment: looking after the fleet for a heavy industrial processing plant. Future: expanding business, excellent opportunities.

The HGV Mechanic will inspect, report, repair and service all the company s fleet from trailers, road vehicles and factory transport.

The role is varied and depends on the needs of the department. It will include the inspection and conduct of pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards with all related paperwork to be completed accurately and in good time as well as general garage housekeeping. The team is small which means that everyone supports each other with a range of ad hoc duties, as required.

• Inspect, report, repair and service all the company s fleet from trailers, road vehicles and factory transport.
• Inspect and conduct pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards with all related paperwork completed accurately and in good time.
• Maintain general garage housekeeping and support the team with ad hoc duties as required.

• Full UK Driving Licence - HGV Class C+E licence is essential.
• An industry recognised qualification, either City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
• Previous HGV mechanical experience with excellent mechanical diagnostic skills.
