Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance FLT Experience

Pay Rate: £25, 670 (23, 809 basic + £1780 shift allowance) - Also potential to earn annual bonus of £1,300.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Day shift – 8 hours per day between 0600 and 1800 (Monday to Friday).

Note:

role has an out of hours "on call rota" – one week in every four. Extra payment of £150 for each week on call, plus additional payments for site call-outs.

As part of your normal duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
• Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment.
• Stock counts (Perpetual Inventory – PI).
• General housekeeping and occasional overtime to cover absence & holidays.

• Previous practical experience as a warehouse operative within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all manual handling procedures.
• Counterbalance forklift truck experience is essential for this role.
• Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
• Reach truck experience preferred but not essential.
• Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Full driving licence (essential).
